Our client, a leading training provider in the Harrogate area is currently looking to recruit an Office Administration Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

As Office Manager you will be overseeing the office based administration team and apprentices. To ensure smooth running of the office facility and to play a key role in the accurate administration of all services relating to apprenticeships and work based learning.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Office Administration Manager will bring professionalism, skills, knowledge, and experience to the role.

This is an office based role for an experienced office manager, responsible for the office based administration team engaging with learners, employers and a variety of external stakeholders including the ESFA, other government departments and awarding bodies.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Lead, direct and monitor the work of staff involved in the delivery of administrative services to ensure high standards.

·       Develop and monitor key performance indicators [KPIs] for administration support services.

·       Lead, manage, monitor and mentor the CPD of staff across the administration department.  Appraise and coach team members to enable them to reach their full potential.

·       Assist in the generation and updating of operational plans and processes as necessary for the effective management of the services.

·       Manage administration queries

·       Take meeting minutes

·       Manage field-based tutor queries

·       Liaise with a range of stakeholders including the ESFA, employers, learners and awarding bodies

·       Policies and Procedures

·       ESFA data returns

·       Process learner certification

·       Responsible for office health and safety

·       Administer employer contracts and service level agreements

To be considered for this role you must have Min. 2 years’ experience in learner administration (Training Provider, HE, FE, School etc.) You will have strong written and verbal communication skills couple with good attention to detail and organisational skills. Our client is looking for someone with strong IT skills with the ability to use all Microsoft applications.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £25,950 and your hours of work will be 37 per week. Annual leave entitlement is 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.
