Our client, a well-established and successful Harrogate based business is looking to appoint a Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to join the busy HR and Payroll department.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for providing day to day comprehensive effective and efficient administration support.

Your duties will include:

·       Daily input and maintenance of all payroll related information on Sage and databases such as starters, leavers and amendments.

·       You will process allocated payrolls through to HSBC payment, produce or run all month end processes relating to your allocated payrolls accurately and on time.

·       You will also build effective relationships with internal and external customers both in writing and by telephone ensuring all queries and requests are dealt with in a professional manner.

·       You will also be responsible for completing various tasks assigned to you in order to ensure compliance with statutory requirements or to improve the effectiveness of the payroll service.

To succeed in the role, you must be well organised and methodical with a high level of accuracy coupled with excellent attention to detail, and you will have excellent numeracy skills and have effective working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as an excellent telephone manner.

Payroll experience desirable but not essential.
